Refund, Returns & Exchanges Policy

At RC Engines, we want you to shop with complete confidence. If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a clear, fair, and straightforward return and exchange policy. Please review the following terms to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Return Policy

Return Window:
You may return products within 90 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Conditions:
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products. Products must be in new or slightly used condition, and returned in the original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.

Return Method:
Returns are accepted by mail only.

Return Label:
We provide a prepaid return label included in the package or available upon request. We cover return shipping only for defective or incorrect items.

Restocking Fee:
There is no restocking fee for standard returns. However, a 15% restocking fee may apply for large items (e.g., outboard motors) or products returned without original packaging or in non-resellable condition.

Refund Processing Time:
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. You will receive a confirmation once the refund is processed. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

2. Exchanges

Eligibility:
We accept exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging.

Process:
Contact us at info@rcengines.com.au with your order number and exchange request. You are responsible for the shipping costs on exchanges unless the item is defective or incorrect.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective:

  • Contact us at info@rcengines.com.au within 7 days of delivery.

  • Include your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos.

  • We will either send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

  • Return shipping for defective or incorrect items is fully covered.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Some products are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Custom-built or special-order items

  • Opened or used outboard motors or parts

  • Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at checkout

Please ensure your order is correct before finalizing your purchase.

5. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch for a full refund.

  • Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled but may be returned under the terms above.
